Do you sometimes feel pressure in DJing or in music production?

You’re not sure if it comes from within you or if it’s caused by something outside of you. As a result, you’re not able to finish tracks or DJ mixtapes. In fact you can’t even get started.

When you feel pressure to figure out the right way to create your tracks or DJ sets, to release them and to get visible as a DJ/producer, it shows that you are unable to trust yourself enough to make the right decision.

You don’t trust yourself enough to create your best work. You second-guess every decision: what software to use, are your mixing skills too limited, what gear will you use, what does it need to sound like, and so on.

It’s debilitating and so you don’t do anything at all. You find yourself not able to get started.

The pressure to get it perfect causes procrastination and so you don’t finish tracks or mixtapes, you find the process stressful and your relationship with your music feels restrained.
